The Tecno K7 Spark (e.g K7-H8019A-N-170731V73) is an MT6580 powered phone running on Android version: 7.0
How to root Tecno K7 Spark
- Install VCOM drivers on your PC using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html
- Download Magisk v14 zip @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachm...1504713887
- Copy the Magisk zip to the phone's SD Card
- Download Philz for Tecno K7 Spark ported by Team Hovatek at https://mega.nz/#!hXBDBIKI!owTDcEbPU6C1B..._mzxCc1SJg
- TWRP for Tecno K7 Spark ported by Team Hovatek at https://mega.nz/#!oPYhnbAL!tRYMO6fu66Aza...eAblNedWmE
- Switch off the phone (still with battery inside)
- Flash the Philz recovery.img to the phone using SP Flash tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
- Boot the phone into recovery mode using Volume up button + Power button
- In Philz recovery, you use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select
- Select Install Zip
- Navigate to the location of the Magisk.zip on the SD Card and select it
- Wait till flashing is complete
- If you are prompted to fix root, select No
- Reboot the phone normally
- Once the phone boots to Home Screen, download and install Magisk Manager apk @ https://github.com/topjohnwu/MagiskManag...v5.0.4.apk
- Launch Magisk Manager and Root checker to verify root.

You could remove Magisk and use Supersu if you want
