(24-03-2021, 05:55 PM)forcedreg Getting "ERROR : STATUS_EMI_SETTING_VERSION_ERROR (0xC0040050)" over here. I've tried everything I can think of to find reference to this error and as far as I can tell it's nowhere to be found. Any ideas what the cause is? Possible solutions?
create a new thread for your device issue by clicking "ask question" at the top
in the new thread, attach a full screenshot of the sp flash tool as well, shift the error message box away from spft
also state the device model, the problem of the device and how it began too

When I try to use load the empty scatter file to SP Flash Tool_v5.1924_Win (the latest) I am getting an error:
"Platform AC82 not supported on this version. Please update to the latest flashtool and try again"
( E_APP_SCATTER_FAILED)
Please advice.

When I try to use load the empty scatter file to SP Flash Tool_v5.1924_Win (the latest) I am getting an error:
"Platform AC82 not supported on this version. Please update to the latest flashtool and try again"
( E_APP_SCATTER_FAILED)
Please advice.
Platform should be MT**** same as the chipset of the device and the device must be running a mediatek chipset
Apps such as cpu-z will tell you the chipset of the device

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
cpu-z identified the chipset as AC8227L, hence I selected this value from the dropdown list when generating an empty scatter file with WwR.
Am I missing something ?

I've also used the SoftwareDownload tool and it still gives me an error like Connection Failed! STATVS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH 100%
This error is given in the sp flash tool is SoftwareDownload the cell phone is Trying to do this is Redmi 6A

Are you using the correct custom DA for the device? Or is it the default one in SP Flash Tool
