This is the ultimate custom ROM and low-level firmware toolkit for the Rongyue E5. It has been highly optimized for speed, flexibility, and power users, removing all factory restrictions and providing a clean, out-of-the-box global experience.
System & UI Optimizations:
•Out-of-the-box Ready: Setup Wizard is bypassed by default.

1. Lockscreen Bug: When the UI and font scaling are turned up/enlarged, the clock on the lockscreen displays incorrectly.
2. Keypad Limitation: In the standard launcher/desktop mode, pressing the physical number keys will not automatically bring up the dialer interface. Furthermore, the stock Dialer app does not support physical keyboard/keypad text input.
3. Status Bar Scaling: The status bar area takes up a bit too much screen real estate. On a 320x480 resolution, the home screen launcher only registers 240x320 for screen inputs (Note: This does not affect watching videos or gaming).
4. RAM Usage: Memory consumption is slightly higher compared to Android 13, but it does not significantly impact daily usage.
5. Camera UI Bug: The camera user interface has layout issues due to the screen size; taking photos and switching to video recording mode can only be triggered via the physical Volume Keys.

I am thrilled to release the first-ever port of Nokia HMD OS (Android 14) for the Rongyue E5! I recently came across a Nokia/HMD device running on a similar Unisoc chipset platform, so I decided to port, adapt, and patch the system files for our E5. After a few days of intense debugging and polishing, this ROM is now highly stable and fully ready for daily use.
I have successfully backported premium features like Face Unlock and Nokia's proprietary audio enhancements—unlocking advanced capabilities that aren't even present in the stock ROM!
System & UI Optimizations:

DO NOT rely solely on TWRP "Format Data" for Android 14+ (Android 15) Cross-Version Upgrades!
Problem Identified:
On devices running Android 14 and above (especially Android 14 / Unisoc platforms / Treble GSI ports), TWRP's built-in Wipe -> Format Data often leaves behind incomplete FBE (File-Based Encryption) metadata and leftover partition headers.
This causes the system to suffer from PMS initialization crashes and infinite bootloop on the 2nd boot screen after a clean flash!
🔥 THE 100% WORKING SOLUTION: FASTBOOT -W 🔥
If you encounter a bootloop when upgrading across Android versions (e.g., Android 14 ➔ Android 15), you MUST perform a clean wipe from Fastboot mode:
Step-by-step fix:
1. Reboot the device into Fastboot Mode.
2. Connect to PC, open CMD / Terminal and run this MANDATORY command:

Base Updated to Android 15 + ZRAM Optimization
System Status & Compatibility:
Updated base to Android 15 with ZRAM enabled — fully tested and confirmed working smoothly on the hardware-modded 4GB RAM edition; the stock 2GB version is untested, but theoretically should boot successfully with ZRAM active (otherwise it may get stuck on the boot animation).
