If its not detected at all then you need a different approach
Remove the battery completely and retry

(27-06-2022, 08:45 AM)JAAZXS When trying to use main.py I get info about the device then "Found device in preloader mode, trying to crash..." and "status is 7024" and it just loops contently. I have tried pressing all combinations of both volume buttons. When the phone connects it shows up as "MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM (Android)" and my phone is a Vivo Y21/V2111 PD2139GF and I think this is a link to my stock firmware: Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

I was able to flash my infinix note 10 pro x695c with locked bootloader.
After run py -3 main.py , need press & hold the up down volume key then only connect usb cable to pc.
Sp flash download first time will error, click download again, press volume down key once and the flashing progress will start.
