[Tutorial] How to use MTK Bypass to backup or flash secure boot MTK

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to give us this procedure. I'm stuck at "Found port = COM5" after I plugged in the device when "Waiting for device" showed. It doesn't move further than that.
The device is Tecno KD7h (Spark 5)
Please, what could be the cause and how I do get past it? Please, it's really urgent

ensure that you've installed libusb filter before proceeding with the bypass

New issue. I waited for it. It timed out after 1 hour. Now, the device cannot boot up again to even show the red state error. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. It then boots to the famous red state error. I repeated the process. Got same issue.

When stuck at found port, disconnect the device then connect to PC while holding Volume down + Power button. Do this several times before you retry running main.py

We just used sp flash tool as an example. This would work with most recent scatter format flash tools

that's for you to find out seeing as you have the phone and we don't, try different combo until you get that which gets you an mtk usb port detection in device manager
