There's installer that automatically put those files into windows system, you just have to explore the download link a little bit. https://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-...e/download <- this is the installer, you just need to install this and your phone should be detected if you're doing it right.
There's alternative method too. https://www.mcttools.com/downloads/ just download "MCT Mediatek Bypass Tool". You need to install libusb installer like above too if you want to use this method. Warning, this tool will be detected as virus so you just disable the antivirus or if you're afraid then don't use this at all. I've tested this method too and it works with my Infinix Note 7.
The upside of this tool is you don't have to install python and doing command line at all, and the downside of this tool is:
1. Sometimes when you want to connect the phone using vol+/- button, it will throw an error and you need to close and reopen it again until it says "protection disabled".
2. If there's new processor exploit added, this tool needs to be updated by it's creator.

2. You don't have to set SPFT to UART connection, it will detect the phone automatically somehow.

just to point out that this isn't an advantage of mct, turns out you don't necessarily need uart, usb high speed connection gets detected as well if using main.py & uart is only compulsory if using linux

maybe you didn't select UART (you can only choose com port in UART connection), but you can skip choosing com port (it's not necessarily needed) and use USB connection instead
