Unable to Backup Tecno KA7

(17-01-2019, 07:48 PM)EMMANUS Use the wwr method you were onto before, leave out user data and cache as X3non suggested, and make sure you have uninterrupted power supply.
Most times, its not possible to flash back NCK readback, unless you were careful about it and use NCK for the flashing.

After successfully flashing the ported recovery. Img using SPFT's write memory, each time I try to boot to recovery I get
"Red State
Your device has failed verification and may not work properly
Rebooting in 5sec". The phone will reboot to home screen.
I decided to flash magisk boot.img, then the phone will give the same error and continues looping. I had to flash back the stock boot.img before it got back to normal.
Is there no way of rooting or flashing custom recovery. Could it be because I have a locked bootloader?

is your phone able to boot to homescreen with unlocked bootloader?
did you manage to root the phone and the phone still boots to homescreen afterwards?
