Important Notice

In order to use this tool, you must at least have the firmware / stock rom for the model you wish to work on.
While SoftwareDownload tool might warn you when trying to flash an incompatible rom, you should avoid this as it could cause the phone to go totally dead
This tool will only flash firmware in scatter format. If your firmware is a Miracle Box-created scatter firmware then you might run into trouble using SoftwareDownload tool so you best stick to Miracle Box
This tool doesn't require installation or internet access. Just download, unzip, launch and you're all set

Yes, you can flash both scatter and bin dump from CM2 using this tool

attached below is a screenshot of the tool working on windows xp 32bit. the tool is 32bit compatible
you should however consider trying a different PC

No, this tool is meant for flashing mobile android phones only
btw genuine windows can be downloaded directly from microsoft's website

software download tool is better for transsion phone models (e.g tecno, itel, infinix, villaon, etc) having secure boot, and esp when you have the factory firmware for the model. you won't need to manually search for, input custom DA or Auth files in order to flash these models using software download tool as compared to other flashing tool
