How to flash / unbrick a Tecno F2

If you have trouble flashing then get the custom Tecno Download Agent (DA) file for this model
The firmware above is in scatter format so this means you can flash with SP Flash tool, Infinity Chinese Miracle II MTK Box, 
Miracle Box (If indicated that it's a Miracle Box Dump) or any other Chinese box or tool which supports flashing in scatter format.
Before flashing, ensure that:

1. The battery is charged to an extent and inserted into the phone
   
2. The phone is powered off / switched off
   
3. You have installed Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM drivers
   
4. You have downloaded either parts of or the complete firmware above (depending on what you need to flash) and unzipped into a folder
   
5. You have a PC and USB cord

means the firmware isn't meant for your phone's chip.

Thank you for your response and quick replies. I did what you suggested, and the phone couldn't boot afterwards.
I was experimenting something with it, so I took tecno wx3 firmware which has very similar specs with it, except the screen size, i flashed it and it worked, the only problem now is the touch isn't well calibrated and the screen color is inverted. So I took lk.bin from the firmware above and flashed it, the colors were OK now but it hangs on boot logo.
I can't seem to find the firmware online and the ones I get are password protected where the publishers are demanding huge prices for it.

try wiping the phone in recovery mode (see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-479.html for how to enter recovery)

edit the scat file using notepad++ and on line 9, make the change
platform: MT6580 
then save, if your phone is bricked then flash only boot, recovery and system
