In the process of rooting the device i was stuck at big trouble where by the device is stuck at tecno logo currently not booting now.
The problem is i dont make a rom backup before trying to root the device and i dont found any firmware matching my build id.. ?
The build id is A9-H971A-N1-170802V76
pls help me with the firmware solution...
Nb i flashed philx uploaded by hovatek and the phone is at state of bootloop..
1.Update the phone is booting to philz recovery
2.I wipe data factory reset still not booting
3.stuck at Tecno powered by Android not booting to System
4. All i have is build number A9-H971A-N1-170802V76
Pls assist me.

Ran a quick search but nothing solid came up, you'll need to get a working Phantom 6 plus with same build no. to take backup of the stock recovery and flash to yours.

If I get you right, all you did was flash Philz recovery right? Why didn't you flah supersu or magisk to root? Flashing a custom recovery alone (without going ahead to root) sometimes causes a bootloop

Yes i flashed philz recovery.
Also i follow your guide and do as you say its "RECOMMENDED "that
Is why i directly flash philz. Not following the other alternatives.

try flashing supersu using philz recovery then reboot and see if it boots to homescreen
if it doesn't, then you'll have to flash back stock marshmallow rom then upgrade back to nougat using OTA
download stock marshmallow rom @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19546.html
flash using SP flash tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
when the phone boots into homescreen, update to nougat using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-upda...pdate-zip/

pause trying to flash Marshmallow for a while.
we're asking you to flash Philz recovery then boot into Philz recovery and flash supersu.zip to root
As I said, not flashing supersu or magisk after flashing a custom recovery sometimes causes a bootloop
