(29-09-2021, 09:56 AM)Trunks614 Nothing comes up when I run command "fastboot devices". When I run command "adb reboot-bootloader" my phone simply switches off. I've also tried manually booting into bootloader through recovery mode, but the device also switches off. Please what could be wrong?

hello hovatek team. i Have a BLU phone with android 5.1 that i want to upgrade to 6.0. I found on internet a guy who explains how to do it, but for some reason he says that after the bootloader is unlocked, it enters into bootloop.

Then, he says we must flash the official firmware.

question is, flashing stock rom does not re-locks bootloader?

unless the person gave a specific process to follow, e.g on a mediatek device, erasing or overwriting seccfg partition relock the bootloader
so if you flash firmware without formatting or overwriting seccfg then bootloader will remain unlocked

If you have root access or custom recovery installed, then download the latest rom, extract it and flash its boot and system image through recovery.

This method won't work for your model. See https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32287.html
