How to flash / unbrick a Tecno L8 Plus

The firmware above is in scatter format so this means you can flash with SP Flash tool, Infinity Chinese Miracle II MTK Box,
Miracle Box (If indicated that it's a Miracle Box Dump) or any other Chinese box or tool which supports flashing in scatter format.
Before flashing, ensure that:

1. The battery is charged to an extent and inserted into the phone
   
2. The phone is powered off / switched off
   
3. You have installed Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM drivers
   
4. You have downloaded either parts of or the complete firmware above (depending on what you need to flash) and unzipped into a folder
   
5. You have a PC and USB cord

Its best to use files for your build number.
you best backup your phone's rom in scatter format using miracle box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html
then grab the boot.bin from the backup , rename to boot.img and patch using magisk.
You can then rename the patched boot back to boot.bin and flash back using miracle box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-14106.html

Please I am using Tecno L8 plus.. It went off all of a sudden and when it came up, it shows the TECNO logo and after which then shows hios with a RED caution symbol. What could be the cause and how can I rectify it please?

No,
if your phone is soft bricked then you can try flashing only boot and system.img from any of the closely related builds
if not then create a new thread so we'll focus on it
