If want to gain root or flash TWRP u will face such problem when u have lock bootloader on a phone with verify boot even if u flash magisk patch .Is frequent problem.just unlock the bootloader and flash magisk .u can as well flash custom ROM and I swear u will not encounter this issue again.

Do you have the dongle??
Cuz without a dongle you can't fix it.
