I should load from the official firmware
Did you process the preloader in WWR before loading? If you did then it means your model requires an official / signed preloader from the firmware (not a backup) to carry out flash operations...this is unlikely

Cheers, I have another new variant of the Armor X5. It was was purchased by amazon this week and they had to take the last one back do to a bootlop due to the advertised chipset was wrong. From using droid-info app it revealed it was the MT6762V/WD. I was attempting TWRP trying approx 5-6 versions, but v331 is what done my phone is. XDA members referenced here due to the bootloop the devs set silent.
I appreciate the depth and details, however I have a new issue [SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1924_Win]. When I attempted to make a ROM backup using the method detailed here it now says: "Platform MT67 not support in this version. Please update to latest flashtool and try again."
For my particular chipset there is no room? I contact Ulefone because its advert as a "2021 Android 10 (Q) / Chipset 6765. The build matches as well. Everything but the chipset??
Please advise

create and use scatter file for mt6765, also you'd need to download any firmware for this model as you'll be needing the preloader in order to make a firmware backup

I got to the part where the phone is to run the "preloader analysis" but this ran for 13 minutes until I stopped the program due to it not taking that long in the video or showing that it takes this long in the screenshot steps. However, now the phone does not power on and I let it charge for hours. It also doesn't respond when I attempt to hold down the power buttons in any combination. The phone is not responding to anything and does not make any notification sounds when you plugin it into a pc. I've rooted many phones and never had this odd experience. Ideas?
Please advise.

you don't need the phone to run preloader analysis, you just need a backup from emmc_boot1 region

it shouldn't if you are using the dump made from emmc_boot1 region

the device is stuck in flash mode. you can some of the tips @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-808.html
and if you still have any more problems regarding firmware backup, create a new thread for it by clicking "ask question" at the top

No shortcuts unless you have a hardware box / dongle tool that supports reading firmware from the chipset of the phone, you can watch the video guide (there's one for wwr 2.51 as well) so you don't get confused or create a new thread and ask a question if you get stuck somewhere
