When backing up my rom on Tecno spark 4 kc8 android 10, should I unlock the bootloader first or just go ahead with the process?

Thank you for this guide. I am certainly going to follow it and learn how to backup my Android head unit.
I think paragraph 3. needs to start with "select Auto Mode" tab

the text guide and attached video was written using the old version 2.30 of wwr but there's a link to the video guide for v2.51 under the "very important notice" section should incase you need it
one more thing, this backup procedure only works for mediatek android devices

Yes, you should use mt6765 rather than mt6765v

Yes, you should use mt6765 rather than mt6765v

Does this apply to MT8168B, should I use MT8168 instead?
When I set MT8168B the SP Flash Tool give me "Platform MT81 not supported on this version". and I use the last version.

yes, it does if you choose to backup full emmc (just as we did in the guide)
