How do I boot TWRP temporarily on my A/B device and patch ramdisk to install TWRP?(09-09-2019, 06:48 PM)Shogun Shogun What about to the devices that does not have recovery partition? My device seem to have the recovery located on boot partition (recovery and boot images on one partition).
Did tried this auto porter using the boot.img since this phone does not have recovery.img but it does not work (phone does not respond to turning on/charging).
You temporarily boot into TWRP using fastboot boot recovery.img then patch the ramdisk

(24-10-2019, 03:41 PM)francisdrake005 I have successfully ported Ulefone Note 7P(Android 9 Pie, A-only partition) TWRP Recovery using this tool. Though it looses touch sense, this can still be easily fixed by patching the kernel. Whoever is interested, I would gladly share the recovery.img.

(29-10-2019, 10:21 AM)DemoTestingAll Sorry for double post but although it was successfully installed it appears that TWRP can't find the partitions.
It only shows a "internal storage" with 5 Mb and nothing else. I can't mount any other and on the backup menu there's only system, cache and data, all with 0 bytes.
I'm going to try other methods to see they work. If all fail I'll have to try to install Magisk without a custom recovery.
