Please I need assistance on how to root my Gionee F205, and also can't find Twrp image for it, need to update it to Android Oreo using custom rom.

you need stock rom for your device, if you don't have that then dump from your phone using wwr at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html
root using magisk at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html
port twrp using our porting tool at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21839.html

I get this error
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003) when trying to prepared the preloader.bin from the phone using sp flash tool

I also discovered that vcom port on device manager has a warning ⚠ sign, I believe that could be the possible reason..
how do I fix it.

That's not a problem. You only getting that because you installed an unsigned driver

Seems your device has Secure Boot and might require a custom DA.
First try other fixes for this error code 0xC0060003 @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-439.html
if all fail then we focus on the da file

okay.. Trying the solution on the link above, but most of the step there I have done it except using a different PC to perform the read back..

tried using another PC, still the same error..
pls, how do I get custom DA to perform readback and root the phone..
