Your mistake was not signing the image before flashing.
What do you mean by "fastboot bootloop"? Does the phone enter fastboot mode or what?
(24-03-2025, 10:33 AM)Dyr ... Alldocube was contacted several times in order to ask, check, confirm and double confirm the firmware they were pointing at was the firmware I had running in my tab at that moment. They promptly answered reassuring me multiple times that the .pac file listed for the iplay20s was kind of universal and it was the exact one I was running. ..

Now I'm confused. This is a MediaTek® MT8781, according to their website. the iplay20s is Unisoc® SC9863A.Ther're different.
Fixing the device isn't so difficult. You just need to dump the firmware, get the build number from the boot.img of the inactive slot....but this can rest since you've returned it.
(29-03-2025, 12:21 PM)maxpayneSorry, since I'm now trying a blackview tab18 too, I miss the doubletap2wake/sleep function that was on the alldocube iplay60 pad pro, so I was thinking about possibly giving it another shot. Please, can you describe a little bit how to sign the boot img provided that I get hold of the firmware (this device is not listed on alldocube firmwares repo) , or can you briefly point to how to dump the current firmware.
