(23-03-2025, 12:36 PM)Dyr .. Patched by magisk manager and flashed via fastboot, result is a fastboot mode bootloop. ..

If your phone were SPD, then:
Your mistakes were not backing up your files using the .pac file, and then not signing the image before flashing.
..but your device is MediaTek, which puts you in an even worse situation.
There's still a way out (if the device is A/B).
You could use MTK Client (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-46342.html) to backup the firmware, then use the boot.img from the inactive slot and flash to the active slot.

What do you mean by "fastboot bootloop"? Does the phone enter fastboot mode or what?

Thanks. Yes basically it entered this loop of restarting in fastboot mode, 3 seconds and restarts again in fastboot mode, 3secs, windows recognise the device but immediately comes the disconnection sound, and it keeps going like that till the battery dies regardless of what button combination I attempt or what command I try in those 2 secs of fastboot mode. The mistake was relying on the manufacturer advice who advised to flash the wrong firmware from which I took the wrong boot.img. they pointed to a .pac firmware for unisoc whilst my device was mtk... I asked them multiple times whether that was the firmware that was running on my device, they reassured me saying the iplay20s firmware was sort of universal... And of course the issue was also lacking the time to properly research...
Returned to Amazon though...

(24-03-2025, 10:33 AM)Dyr ... Alldocube was contacted several times in order to ask, check, confirm and double confirm the firmware they were pointing at was the firmware I had running in my tab at that moment. They promptly answered reassuring me multiple times that the .pac file listed for the iplay20s was kind of universal and it was the exact one I was running. ..

Now I'm confused. This is a MediaTek® MT8781, according to their website. the iplay20s is Unisoc® SC9863A.Ther're different.
Fixing the device isn't so difficult. You just need to dump the firmware, get the build number from the boot.img of the inactive slot....but this can rest since you've returned it.

Thanks. Yes I was very confused as well since it was my first non Xiaomi/Snapdragon device, I saw unisoc and mtk were all over these tablets brands forum, and alldocube suggested a file that only an unisoc tool could handle, for about one hour or two that evening I thought spd tool and .pac files could work on both processors...
Though I tried 2 different mtk tools and I couldn't get the device seen. The only time the tablet could rest was when there wasn't enough battery, but as soon as a cable was inserted it would restart "(fast)boot"looping...

Sorry, since I'm now trying a blackview tab18 too, I miss the doubletap2wake/sleep function that was on the alldocube iplay60 pad pro, so I was thinking about possibly giving it another shot. Please, can you describe a little bit how to sign the boot img provided that I get hold of the firmware (this device is not listed on alldocube firmwares repo) , or can you briefly point to how to dump the current firmware. THAAAAAAAANKSSS

Please anyone knows where to get the firmware for the alldocube iplay60 pad pro? Or someone happy to share a clean backup?
Thanks
