This guide will show you how to remove Factory Reset Protection (FRP) on MTK phones using Sigmal Plus. This guide uses a Huawei MRD-LX1F / JAT-L29 as a demonstration.

Steps to bypass FRP on Mediatek using Sigma Plus

  1. Download and install Sigma Plus software, then, right-click on the icon and click "Run as administrator"
  2. On the top left corner of the software, click "PLATFORM" and select "Mediatek"

  3. Go to the "Service" tab, click on "Serial port" and select "USB autodetect".
  4. Click "phone model" and select the model (Huawei in this example) then select the model number 
  5. Click "Remove FRP" from the list of options.

  6. Power off your device and connect it in BROM mode (some models like this require using the test point).

  7. Once your device is detected, the process will begin.

  8. Restart your device once it's finished


Important Notice

  • Make sure to select the correct phone model else you might get an error.
