This guide will explain how to root the Hisense A5 Pro CC. It's a Unisoc T610-powered device running on Android 10.

Unlock the Bootloader
Download the zip @ https://mega.nz/file/AlYhSa7J#w3npn5L791...2tb_m8uzgA and extract its contents
A Windows PC
An Ubuntu PC with python 3. You can use LinuxUSB or VMWare Workstation
Know how to patch an image using Magisk manager

Follow the steps below to root a Hisense A5 Pro CC

Run dump_boot.bat from the extracted zip then power off the phone, hold both volume buttons and power button then connect to PC via USB cable
Wait till boot.img is dumped
Patch the boot.img using magisk manager then copy back to your PC (in the extracted zip folder)
Copy the extracted zip to Ubuntu, launch terminal then sign the magisk boot image using the following command

python3 avbtool.py add_hash_footer --image image-new.img --partition_name boot --partition_size 36700160 --key rsa4096_vbmeta.pem --algorithm SHA256_RSA4096 --salt 5F55215FD2302D021F850B55912ED48D176784678692DC012E054B1ECD0BE025
Get the phone into fastbootd from adb using the following command

Code:

adb reboot fastboot
Flash the boot image using the following command (where magisk_patched-26100_7ls6T.img is your file name)

Code:

fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-26100_7ls6T.img
Reboot to home screen

Code:

fastboot reboot

Important Notice

If you encounter 'fastboot: error: boot partition is smaller than boot image' then ensure you booted into fastbood (adb reboot fastboot) instead of fastboot (adb reboot bootloader)
You can install GApps by installing the LiteGapps module @ https://sourceforge.net/projects/litegap...025-01-16/ in Magisk Manager
