As you stated, the Unknown Baseband is fixed. Maybe it was a hardware issue rather than of a software? Or maybe you did some stuff which fixed it and forgot to check, and now you are thinking it fixed on its own.
Anyways, If your device is showing only PSN Number, and detecting Sim, it means IMEI is not flashed, Use this tutorial I made to flash IMEI again and Other BT Mac, and WiFi mac etc. IMEI and Other NV fix guide.

I was trying to relock the boot loader before trying your tutorial, and the usb shift in the process, now the phone is stuck, and wouldn't boot up, the battery is fully charged so it'll take weeks to fully discharge in this state, I will have to take it to repair shop so they can disconnect and reconnect the battery so as to exit this state.
or do have a faster solution?
didn't work, phone couldn't boot into meta mode using aftersales tool
Fix Baseband with TFT Tools, It will Fix it.

Also, The Device should not be rooted, (Preferred, because some errors could occur.)
Also, Dont think i am a useless techie guy... I also has a X690B, which faced the damn same issue, I am speaking from Experience Brotha!

So the "baseband Unknown" was auto fixed by the phone itself after several months, and sim cards started detecting on its own. then @techyskills shared me NVRAM and NVDATA files I flashed with mtk client, and the following were fixed after the flashing
1. the imei was fixed, phone unable to make or receive calls was also fixed,
2. the phone which doesn't dial ussd codes was now able to do so.
what went wrong
1. the browsing network (I am using MTN-NG) was slow, and was on EDGE on most times of the day.
bottom line,
my phone isn't original infinix, or Infinix as a brand is really beautiful on the outside but poor on the inside.
verdict,
make money and get a new phone, probably go back to Gionee or buy myself a Xiaomi redmi

By the way, you are right, I am also having low signals with one of my sims, but i think it is because the tower is too far away from me.
