Video Transcript
Quote:In this tutorial, I'll be explaining how to write IMEI to an LG Android device using LGUP. Now, you need to have installed our LG drivers. You also need to have LGUP with your dll and everything in place, I'll link to a guide on that. You also need to have the kdz for your model and the IMEI you wish to write. Now, once you have all these in place, you're ready to go so you launch LGUP. Now, in LGUP, you need to load the kdz or tot for your phone model. Mine is already loaded here as you can see. So you click PDM under Process then you click Start. Now you just wait. Its going to boot into a Blue screen, you just wait. Now, in Info Write tab here, you input the IMEI you wish to write. Now you click Write Data. This is going to both flash the kdz or tot and write the IMEI to the device, just wait. Alright, so you should see PDM Information. Just leave it to complete. When prompted, you can save the PDM.txt file after which you can now close PDM information and LGUP. So that's how to write IMEI to an LG Android device using LGUP

Thanks for replying! I did create a thread mentioning my details of the problem. Also I noticed in the pdm "write IMEI" result I get "1" result instead of "OK" like you get in your video. Can you tell me what might be wrong? You can tell me on my main thread https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-40349.html
