Greetings,

I would like to inquire whether the Xiaomi Mi A2 phone (M1804D2SG) has the same set of operating system files as Xiaomi Mi 6X ?

I am only aware that Mi A2 is global version and Mi 6X is the Chinese version.

In the MRT Software V3.75, under Xiaomi, the model list only has Xiaomi 6X but no Xiaomi Mi A2.

Could I choose the Xiaomi 6X option from the MRT software to do FRP unlock of Xiaomi Mi A2?

not sure if the frp address on both versions are the same but the chipset is the same
you should instead use qc tool, select the erase frp and use ddr firehose file for 6x @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-36741.html

How do I use the "qc tool". Is that within the MRT software or do I need to get another software with dongle?

it's usually a tab within the mrt tool, when you launch mrt, you should find qc tool tab
