If the phone is still functional then you can use the app @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13054.html to check the phone’s info.
whats the phone’s model and is there anything wrong with it?

before using sp2 module, it's already expected that you know the chipset of the device as you'll need to select it before carrying out any operations
you can either search online for the specs of the device might may reveal the chipset
OR randomly try read_info using the different chipsets available on the tool. whichever one works is the chipset of the device
