does exist but gives back a significantly shorter string than in the example
in my case - 5a4532323332355a3548
(btw the official motorola command "fastboot oem get_unlock_data" does not exist)
the second command gives an error
fastboot flashing unlock_bootloader
usage: unknown 'flashing' command unlock_bootloader
the "regular" oem unlock command does exist
fastboot oem unlock x
I tried to use the generated signature.bin with this command but got a fail
fastboot oem unlock signature.bin
FAILED (remote: Unlock bootloader fail.)
Any Ideas? - is the T606 still working with this method?

For some reason my identifier shows in two lines

I found a certificate in Metadata folder of the OTA update package for my device..
can't say it might be used for private key generation .. this question needs additional clarification.

You can't generate it. rsa4096_vbmeta.pem is a default private key used by Android. Some brands retain it while some (mostly established brands) change it. Chances are that Nokia changed it. This is why bootloader unlock might fail
