HP folio 9470m goes off and on by itself
(28-08-2019, 08:53 PM)abbey2u This issue started two days ago. I tried to on my laptop but it was not coming up. I did all hard reset and it worked for some time later went off. Since then, it has been going off and on. I have removed the battery times without number each time I reinsert the battery, the laptop will come up itself.

try removing the battery then connect only the charger and attempt to power it on
check if acts in the same way, also did anything happen to the PC just before the problem start that you forgot to mention maybe?

(31-08-2019, 05:42 PM)hovatekI don't know how to clean the fan and it is very dirty. I tried removing one stick of ram and work a bit but it does go off and off once in a while.(28-08-2019, 08:53 PM)abbey2u This issue started two days ago. It might be overheating. Try blowing some air into the vent then power up.
You could also have the fan cleaned
(30-08-2019, 01:40 AM)X3nonNo, its not overheating at all. I opened to see the cooling fan I discovered it has accumulated dust but clean the dust is my problem.(29-08-2019, 02:12 PM)abbey2u Nothing really happened before it started misbehaving. you need to have the PC checked properly by a technician
BTW does the PC overheat when you attempt to power it on?

(02-09-2019, 04:31 PM)X3nonI have not tried using Another RAM but I'm planning to get another RAM of 8gb DDR3L. The screenshot of RAM stick that I remove is below(02-09-2019, 01:58 AM)abbey2u I don't know how to clean the fan and it is very dirty. have you tried using an entirely different RAM? one you've tested on a different PC
use a blower or tiny brush and you need to dismantle the PC properly and single out the fan
(31-08-2019, 05:42 PM)hovatekSometimes if I remove the battery and reinsert it again the system will just on itself.(28-08-2019, 08:53 PM)abbey2u This issue started two days ago.
