This guide will explain how to write IMEI, Serial Number, WIFI address and Bluetooth address to Spreadtrum Android devices using WriteIMEI tool.

How to use Spreadtrum WriteIMEI tool


Follow the steps below to use Write IMEI tool to write IMEI, Serial Number, WIFI address and Bluetooth address to Spreadtrum

  1. Connect the Spreadtrum device to PC while in Diag mode. It should show up as SPRD U2S Diag (COM*) under Ports in Device Manager

  2. Launch WriteIMEI.exe

  3. Under Ports, select the Port number you see in step 1 (its 63 in this example)

  4. Click Mode Select

  5. Tick Normal Mode then click Select

  6. Click Read

  7. The current details (IMEI etc) should get displayed

  8. Input the addresses (IMEI etc) you wish to write. You may click Set to enable more write options

  9. Click Write

  10. You should get a PASS message once write is done

Important Notice
  • On some models, you might not need a box / dongle to enter diag mode, simply power off and connect
  • To enable other write options (e.g WIFI MAC address, Bluetooth address and Serial Number), click Set and tick the appropriate boxes
  • This guide only explains how to write IMEI. You are entirely responsible for what IMEI you choose to write or change to.
  • If you have an unknown Baseband then fix that first by flashing a compatible pac file.

Quote:In this video tutorial, I'll be explaining how to write IMEI to a Spreadtrum Android
device using Write IMEI tool.
First you need to boot the device into Diag Mode then connect to PC. You should have
this under Device Manager.
Next you launch WriteIMEI.exe
Under device manager, you take note of the port. Here I have COM63 so you come under
Port and you select COM63.
You click on Mode Select and tick Normal Mode then click Select.
Next you click Read and you should have the device info displayed.
Now, to write IMEI, you copy the IMEI(s) you wish to write and you paste under the IMEI
fields.
Now, you click on Write. You should have a PASS message.
If you wish to write other addresses like Bluetooth address, WIFI address or Serial Number, you
come under Select (SET) and here you can tick the appropriate boxes.
Once you're done, you click on Save and the other addresses should be enabled.
So that's how to write IMEI to a Spreadtrum Android device using WriteIMEI tool.

ok VERY CRAZY I know and can Write IMEI without enter diag mod using box or dongle, only use WriteIMEI

Step
1. Download WriteIMEI
2. Install SPD Driver
3. Launch WIMEI
4. Click on Set
5. Untick any other write option (Bluetooth,etc), tick IMEI 1 for SIM 1, IMEI 2 for SIM 2 & click Save
6. Write 15 digit of your stock IMEI
7. Connect device with USB Debuging, & Media transfer or MTP mode
8. Click Write
9. Follow Instruction (Please powered your phone in 30 seconds)
10. Patiently wait, process complete PASS then click Stop to complete and power on. *#06# check IMEI. You done, Congratulation.
Enter Diag mode then You'd rather use the box dongle to repair IMEI not need Write IMEI and cost for Box or Dongle.
