Hi, Hovatek team.
Please, is there any way you can help develop a TWRP recovery for Tecno L9 plus as we have for L8 plus?
I am currently using the Philz recovery on the Phone. It has a nice U.I but lacks something TWRP has. When I tried to wipe data through the recovery (bcuz if u do through the phone setting, u wud end up formatting everything on ur Internal memory ), but to my surprise , it wiped my internal memory clean!!! All pics, apps files, videos n musics.
TWRP doesnt wipe the internal.storage during data wipe...

Another thing i discoverd about Philz for Tecno L9 plus is dat when you make a backup in d recovery, it includes everything on your internal memory... And i have files with large sizes... And this consequentially makes d backup take more space. And this does not happen using TWRP...

Didnt work... It's requesting for img recovery and the one i have is .bin

Didnt work... It's requesting for img recovery and the one i have is .bin

Rename it to recovery.img once port is successful then rename the recovery.img in output folder back to .bin

you don't need a custom recovery to root, root using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html
