Try using miracle thunder @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html to backup the firmware.

Realme c3 rmx2020 has secure boot, you can't readback or flash without the right DA file for the said model and before you ask, da file latest oppo devices is not available (at least not here anyways)

Mediatek Course Mediatek Course

thanks for the guide, i need to create scatter file for oukitel wp7 MT6779 and backup full firmware before i even turn on the phone. i checked WWR MTK but chipset is not listed, was going to add into template.ini but i did not want to do something wrong so wanted to ask here to professionals.
i also found a rom on needrom and downloaded it, seems like original but i dont know if i can trust these files because it is uploaded on 02/27/2020 , how can they upload the original rom of phone when phone is even not on the market yet?

Is the step where we create the "Preloader.bin" necessary if I just want to create a Scatter file and not the SP Flashable firmware?

No, it's not necessary
if all you need is a scatter file then readback only PGPT i.e 0.80000 in emmc_user region
then process it using latest wwr tool, in the scatter file tab you should be able to generate a scatter file

Thanks. So, just to clear things for me, I have to do the following:

1) Take a readback of the "EMMC_BOOT_1" region (Preloader) = ROM_0
2) Perform a RAM test through SPFT to get the full length
3) Use the full length to create a readback of the "EMMC_USER" region (full ROM except Preloader) = ROM_1
4) Load the ROM_1 in "Auto Mode". This will prompt me to load "ROM_0".
5) Once both the dumps are loaded, I go to "Scatter file" tab and deselect all the partitions in PINK, including userdata and cache (Don't need them)
6) Return back to "Auto Mode" and click "Create Scatter file" instead of "To build the firmware"

Am I right?

readback pgpt, see my previous reply, you don't need preloader seeing as pgpt will at least fall under the first 0x80000 length in emmc_user
select the pgpt file in latest wwr tool
when it's done processing > goto scatter file tab and see the configs for scatter file of second version then click create scatter file
