from your post @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-214...#pid129650 it seems you already have a rom
how did you create / get this rom?
lets see a full screenshot of the SPft window along with the error message and a full screenshot of the contents of the rom
and have you tried the fixes for the error listed @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-439.html ?
I created the ROM after I tried to create CWM recovery for the device using MTK DROID TOOLS method but the backup didn't fully complete it somehow got stuck at the recovery part inside MTK DROID TOOLS(I don't remember the error but it crashed the stock recovery, which I didn't flash back immediately at the that time b4 my backup)...so I thought I should create a backup using MTK DROID TOOLS and SP FLASH TOOL readback process. I also got back the correct recovery from a friend who has the same device. Unfortunately, he said he doesn't have the full recovery anymore on his laptop when I called him yesterday.
the ERROR I am getting is
BROM ERROR: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM FAIL (0XFCO)
[EMI] enable DRAM failed
I have read the solutions associated with the ERROR from the link you posted here for me and the major meaning I noticed is
1. Incompatibility of files
* I think this is the cause, not because it is incompatible but incomplete and probably have a corrupted file among them.
2. Ticking the right boxes of files present in the ROM
* I think I did because SP FLASH TOOL automatically detected them except for uboot(don't know why because it was present there). So I selected it manually
3. Probably have a wrong driver.
* I don't believe this is the case because I have properly instead VCOM drivers manually and used it well before this happened. I don't think the flashing would even take place without the drivers detecting the phone.
4. Delete SP FLASH TOOL then re-extract
* I haven't done this but I believe the SPFT isn't affected.
5. Ensure the phone is switched off with battery inside before connecting it to pc
* I didn't put battery in it when I flashed those files. I may have to do it this way and get back to you
6. Consider using SPFT latest version
* I have v5.1628 (I don't know if it is close to latest)
7. Format the phone before flashing
* I have done this too (after I tried Download only option and the screen was just flashing white for a sec then goes off) and that is what caused it to be permanently dead from coming on but it still communicates with PC and SPFT
Lastly, I don't know how to upload pictures here sir. Pls explain it to me here so I can upload what you requested.
