Your model uses A/B partitioning system so the approach is different from regular devices

use the latest version and port based on the kernel version of your device

Sorry for asking, but is that the V1.7a GUI one (beta testing for Pie and Q)?
If so, would you mind giving me a step by step guide on how to port based on the kernel version of my device please?
I'm a bit confused as the porter asks for a stock recovery.img but since my device is A/B partitioned there is no recovery partition.

I get recovery, but when I flash it into the device and run it, the stock recovery opens.
Maybe it's because of the kernel? It has the number 4.14.141

We're yet to release a version fully for MTK Android 10 (twrp v3.5). Your still getting stock recovery could depend on how you flashed i.e rebooting first before attempting to boot into recovery mode

I also tried to disable the DM_Verity as indicated but nothing ...
Teclast M40 is Unisoc. This is a Mediatek tool

I flashed it and TWRP gets stuck at the teamwin boot logo. Though, ADB does work from this "stuck" TWRP boot logo screen...I'm assuming I will need to wait for the 3.5 TWRP porter, but just wanted to post my results so far.
