I had the same problem in version 1.7 where it was hanging on the twrp logo. Now for version 1.8a the problem is resolved

I had the same problem in version 1.7 where it was hanging on the twrp logo. Now for version 1.8a the problem is resolved
doesn't work for me
, I waited 30 minutes and it's still on twrp logo.Maybe if I used command fastboot -w but I don't want to lose my data :\

Well, you are using a MediaTek Helio P90 MT6779 processor, wait for the next update and your problem will be resolved. You have to tell the developer about your processor

factory reset the device in fastboot boot using "fastboot -w" then confirm if twrp boots up

btw can you confirm that decryption works and you're able to mount partitions (twrp > mount)?

file size doesn't matter, trailling zeros are trimmed during port (same way magisk trims trailing zero when patching boot)

No it didn't work for me converting the system to rw
module phone is umidigi a3s mt6761 android 10
and faile to run su root magisk in terminal on twrp
