I do not have any window machine to run the software
or, which alternatives would you recommend for my case
thanks,
you could try using WINE on linux to run windows softwares OR vmware fusion on mac or create a new thread for your device and post a link to your stock recovery.img and maybe someone will be willing to help you port twrp
thansks for your reply @X3non,
I'm a completely nob on the android world,
I've been the whole day trying to find different solutions running on Ubuntu 19.10, to my issue with no success.
I've also tried WINE and had no success, issues with permissions.
Is there any documentation where I could find How to open a thread for this sort of cases (as you suggested)
Thanks a lot.

rename recovery-from-boot.p file within /system on your device. refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-10992.html
(29-04-2020, 07:36 PM)javieracdc Thanks, I've rename that file but now when I enter in recovery mode, it keeps in black screen for a while and the boot system normally.
(30-04-2020, 04:33 PM)Nedmichael I want to create a custom recovery image for note 5stylusAndroid 9
I'm a bit confused now. I unpacked my Note 5 stylus Stock ROM, but couldn't find (recovery.img or recovery-sign.img)
What file should I use (boot.img or ramdisk.img) for the TWRP PORTER ? I seriously need a custom recovery.
