NOTE: AT&T, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile and AIO are all excluded. These operators host their own firmwares

Steps on How to Download LG firmware

* Use the IMEI of your phone to get the correct firmware for your phone model  

1. Visit the website @ https://www.imeipro.info/check_lg.html ; type your IMEI in the imei box, verify recaptcha then click CHECK
   
   
2. It should display some information about the device. Select the Product model and buyer code
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Now visit the website @ https://lg-firmwares.com/ ; input your model or select from the drop down bar
   
4. A list of firmwares will be displayed for your model, simply select the latest firmware which matches the buyer code you got from the first website
   
5. The latest firmware will be the one with the most recent date and OS

Please prepare a tutorial for flashing lg. Plus the firmware page gives files that you aren't sure which to download. Eg I have an E440 but was stuck on which to download I can see Germany, Brazil and others.

if your device is a mediatek device, then you could backup using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html along with mtk bypass @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-37957.html
if it uses some other chipset, then you'll need lgup dev version (dump feature) along with a compatible dll for your model
