How to use LG DZ Extract tool

- Download and install python 2.7.x @ https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2710/
- Extract the tool and copy your .dz (extracted from kdz) file into the same folder as the tool then run the executable file and wait until extraction is complete
Important Notice
- If you get stuck at 80%, then check that the file path to this tool doesn't contain any spaces or strange characters e.g if your username contains a space then copy the tool to your C:\ drive or re-download a fresh copy of the tool
- This tool was doesn't work with all dz files, it works specifically for those that fail to extract when using LG Firmware Extract Tool due to dz header error
- For those extracting an dz firmware for an mtk device, preloader from the firmware needs to cleaned up before flashing; see steps 12 - 16 @ WWR_MTK (preloader analysis)
- If you get dual files for each partition after extracting dz, this means your device has A/B partitioning, so the files labelled as *_1 e.g boot_1 is meant for the B slot

- This tool fixes dz extraction error for those who encounter something like
