(06-11-2020, 11:50 AM)KyuubiKeith Hello, I am having some difficulty flashing the stock from on my tecno pop plus 2 as the sp flash tool keeps asking for an auth file...the actual error reads that THE_S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY(5000) and that it is a secure base band chip requiring an auth file. I have been unsuccessful in getting access to that file. I request assistance in getting it so that I know if it will help fix my problems.
I have also tried flashing with the aftersales tool but it does not help...my problem was that I flashed the wrong from and preloader so the aftersales tool keeps giving me a software mismatch error

did you try flashing using format all + download in swd tool? attach a full screenshot of the error message

try this
edit the file commonsettings.ini within the config directory of SWD tool
change the value of "CheckVersion" from 1 to 0
save and restart the tool then retry flashing
OR better still you could try using auth file for f2 lte @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html

thank you so much...after editing the checkversion.ini file...I was able to format all and download and flash the room to my phone....thanks again
