Finally, a far more detailed and better guide for MTK devices! The FRP in the RAM test caught my attention though. I usually break FRP by using the web sign up method. How do you do that regarding the FRP partition?

when you get the start address and length for FRP, you can then format ONLY frp partition using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21638.html

My device is NAND Memory Type. When I select this I get a new field (in Russian) which I think is for block_Size. What number do I set this for?

I also need to know what to set in SP Flash Toll when I try to readback.

Thank You,

latest versions of miracle box support that chipset but you're using old miracle box version
you should be able to backup using wwr method, create a new thread so we'll focus on it

In several published articles you talk about another article you published where you can use a factory ROM supplied Scatter file along with the SPFlash tool to read the memory out to the various individual files. Can you tell me where that article exists? I assume that the wrt_MTK tool is not needed if you already have a scatter file? In other words am I correct to assume that the long term use of an android phone does not invalidate the data in the original factory ROM scatter file?
