Odin, Fastboot or any tool specific for flashing your type of Qualcomm.
The guide mentioned that

for qualcomm use qfil tool -qpst xml files (.mbn)

When I try and flash the patched boot image, i keep getting an error message on the stage of writing the patched boot on adb, saying that 'this partition doesn't exist'.

My device is an Infinix Note 5. I have used the correct stock boot image with magisk manager to create the ptached image. My bootloader is unlocked as well.

I also cannot flash TWRP to my device (i get the same error message).

What can I do??

What can I do??

ensure you're typing the correct command
'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
you can also download scatter file for your build at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23512.html then use SP flash tool to flash patched_boot
if you still have problems flashing, then create a new thread so we'll focus on it

Did Exactly the same as the video instructed downloaded the gionee a1 firmware extract/copied the boot.img file then did the fastboot and everything and in the end no root was detected as root checker was saying

yes, you can try the latest version and you're to leave magisk manager apk installed on your phone even after flashing patched_boot
