How do i get a backup from a stock recovery mode phone that will serve as my stock backup rom, without making vital changes to the borrowed phone? My phone can't enter recovery mode nor make any sign of power or charge.
rooting, flashing Clockworkmod and making necessary backups is in her best interest. anything can happen @ any time and it's best to have made backups earlier. else she wants to pay over N3,000 when something happens by no fault of hers

After rooting, it'll still be on stock recovery. MTK backup doesn't alter the recovery. If you root the phone, it's best to first make MTK backup then flash cwm and make a cwm backup. cwm recovery and cwm backup are very important once rooted

I have recovery mode but it is chinese
