N0 it was nt installed
Try flashing Clockworkmod recovery to the phone using this guide @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-455.html
If you're able to flash Clockworkmod then request for CWM backup for M5 @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html
If you're unable then request for MTK backup then flash only system.img (Android) using this guide@ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
