Phone: Vodafone Smart 4 Fun (VF685)
Chipset: MediaTek MT6572
Board code (from sticker under battery): V685-2AVDKE3
IMEI: 353675077998542

What happened:
Phone got stuck in a boot loop, then stuck on the "Powered by Android" logo screen. Tried cache wipe and factory reset from stock recovery — no change. Attempted to reflash via SP Flash Tool using firmware Vodafone_VF685_MT6572_4.4.2_ALPS.KK1.MP6.V1.zip (downloaded from firmwarefile.com).

Current state:
Phone shows a completely black screen now, unresponsive to Power button (no vibration, no flicker). Charging light still comes on when plugged in, so the board has power.

Error:
SP Flash Tool gives: BROM ERROR: EMI Enable DRAM failed ("please check your load matches your target").

What I need:
Looking for a DA/scatter file or firmware build that actually matches this specific board revision (V685-2AVDKE3), since the standard MT6572 firmware I found doesn't seem to match this unit's DRAM configuration. Any help identifying the correct file, or an alternative recovery method, would be appreciated.

1. What option did you choose in SP flash tool when you tried flashing the firmware? Download Only, Firmware Upgrade or Format and Download?
2. Did any red or green bar load, or you just got an error, then the device went dead?

Speaking of the dead state, refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-808.html if it was due to an interruption.
Backup the firmware using WWR @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-46323.html and give feedback

I first did the download only flash to fix the boot loop which was successful including the green bar load and green successful tick at the end.
Then the phone went black completely even after several attempts to power it on , so I did the firmware upgrade which then resulted in the error.

This is why it's important to back up before flashing anything.
Was this the firmware you flashed https://www.mediafire.com/file/jerjc7519...shTool.rar ?
