This guide will explain how to backup or dump the firmware of a Unisoc/Spreadtrum Android device using Cheetah Tool Pro

Steps to dump Unisoc/Spreadtrum firmware using Cheetah Tool Pro


  1. Launch Cheetah Tool pro and click the Spreadtrum tab

  2. Select your brand and model from the list

  3. If you can't find your model on the list then Choose Spreadtrum for Brand and your chipset for Model

  4. Click the button in front of Readback Save Path and choose the folder to save the backup files

  5. Click Select Folder

  6. Click "Identify" in Cheetah

  7. Power off and connect the device. It is the volume decrease button for some devices, the volume decrease + power buttons for some and test points for some. The device should be detected

  8. Click the Back button once it's clickable

  9. Tick the partitions you wish to backup

  10. Click Read

  11. Wait while the backup is done

  12. The device should get rebooted once backup is complete

Important Notice
  • Avoid interrupting the backup process
  • if the device becomes unresponsive/dead then take out/disconnect and reinsert/reconnect the battery
