This is a step-by-step guide on how to dump the firmware of a MediaTek Smartphone using Hydra Tool's Mediatek module.

  1. Open Hydra Tool and then double-click on MTK on the homepage.

  2. Go to the Service Tab, Under the Service tab, select "Tool".

  3. From the drop-down menu choose "Partitions".
  4. Select "Flash Mode"
  5. You have three choices in the "Flash Mode" section. For this tutorial, we’ll select "Backup All Partitions Except Userdata"

  6. Click "Execute" and confirm the operation by selecting "YES" when prompted

  7. Power off your smartphone and connect it to your PC via a USB cable. For this tutorial, the device will be connected in Brom mode.
  8. The backup process will begin once your phone is detected by the tool. Please be patient and wait for the process to complete.

  9. Disconnect and restart your phone after a successful backup.
