Here's how to make a Clockworkmod (CWM) recovery backup of an MTK (e.g Tecno, Gionee, Infinix, Opsson, Innjoo, TLC, Lead1 etc) Android phone

Procedure

1. Flash Clockworkmod recovery image to the phone ( see http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-455.html
2. Boot the phone into recovery mode (switch off the phone > press volume increase button and don't release > press power button and don't release > keep holding both till the phone boots into recovery mode )
3. Select Backup and Restore (use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select)
4. Select Backup
5. Reboot the phone once backup is complete
6. Open Memory Card > Clockworkmod > Backup folder
7. The folder named with numbers is your Clockworkmod / CWM backup

This is because you have no space left on your sd card or internal sd card, free up some space as cwm backup takes nearly up to 366mb for a rom with not much apps
