MTN router gradually stopped getting internet connection
(11-08-2023, 10:22 PM)Khey Worthwhile Some 4,5 years ago I used a tutorial I found here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16772.html to unlock my Mtn wifi.
The unlock was successful but it's was later I found out that the IMEI, SN were wiped and reset button no longer work.
The interface was changed to Idea4G. At first I noticed the change in the internet connection and speed but I didn't mind cos it was still serving me.
As years went by I noticed the speed connection of the router was reducing. And now it's gotten so worse that it takes almost the whole day to open any website I want to visit.
Though I bought a new router that was already unlocked and has default MTN interface, and dumped that first one I bought..
I want to know if there's a way to fix the slow internet on that first router I unlock using this tutorial https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16772.html
I think that the 4G idea software is outdated and no longer in use.. how do fix this issue without relocking that router
I'll really appreciate if I can revive that router and return it to it's glory ..Any help would be appreciated .
