Hello, guys.
Last year, ive bought from China a display for BlackView BV2000.
But they sent me one for a different model - BV2000S (wich ive found out later today when i had some time to replace it.
Every connection was the same. Same size and everything.
Except a physical home button in 2000 model, and a full glass panel with 3 touch buttons in 2000s.
But i thought it wouldnt matter.
So i've connected the display and touchscreen to the motherboard.

My question.
Is it possible that the install could have damaged this display ?
Or could have been already damaged ?
It has light. And a weird image.
I wanna sell it and buy another, if is still good.
This time for my model.

Thanks!

The display was built for another model. Surely there'll be a slight difference in kernel and drivers which could explain that display you're seeing

They would require different drivers, hence the weird image you see
