Below is a collection of different versions of LGUP_common.dll. They are files necessary for getting LGUP to properly detect an LG phone in download mode.

How to install LGUP_common.dll

  • First, extract the compressed file then
  • If it's a .msi file then simply install the .msi file
  • If it's a .dll file then simply copy the dll file to C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\Common and ensure to rename the file to LGUP_Common.dll

From Stylo 6 Development Discord I assume?

The last one isn't always the best one... on the contrary in many cases.
Same with these dll files.... the newer they are the more restrictions and checks
they tend to contain to make downgrading and crossflashing harder.

Also a bit older devices aren't supported by these new dll files anymore...
