backup firmware from your device using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html ensure to use the custom da for your model when using sp flash tool ; download @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html
once backup is successful, unlock bootloader @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19578.html
then patch boot using magisk ; see the link in @Abdulakeem14's reply above
