Good afternoon. I am in a serious problem which I urgently need your help. I have a desktop computer with a dual core processor (Intel 2 DUO, CPU E8500, 3.16GHz). There was windows XP 3 installed and it run smoothly but features are few; like you won't be able to see the Memory size.

I have tried several times to install windows 10 but all do not prevail. It always gives a blue screen. At times too it installs alright but when I try to power on, it gives a "pe pe pe" sound and doesn't boot. I strongly believe it is a configuration in the BIOS which is preventing me from installing the windows 10 but I don't not know how to do the configuration in such a way that I will be able to install the windows 10. Please help me. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

you already mentioned that at times you're able to install successfully, so something else must be preventing the pc from booting
you should either check the ram or hdd

First try install Windows 7 or 8 and see if those work
