If you get Modem assert error on your itel or any other spreadtrum phone, error message looks like this https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2018012...bfb0f5.jpg
It most likely occured because you flashed the phone with a firmware that has incompatible modem and nv files. It has been known to occur on some phones after flashing the touchpad fix firmware Itel 1508 (Itel_IT1508_C160_TSL_111_1107_Touchpad_Fix) from here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-2194.html .
The solution is
1) Flash this firmware Itel 1508 (Itel_IT1508_C160_IN_20160330) from here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-2194.html , make sure you flashed all the nv and modem files, you can learn how to do that here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-28774.html
2)Re-flash Itel 1508 (Itel_IT1508_C160_TSL_111_1107_Touchpad_Fix), but this time, untick all nv and modem files.
3) When flashing is complete and phone boots, the error should be gone and your phone should be able to get a network signal.
Note: You may need a hardware dongle or box to complete this easily
